Description |
A
clumping cycad shrub with shiny green pinnate leaves. The leaves have
a similar resemblence to a fern. This Cycad will divide dichotomously
from the side. This cycad will form a large tuberous root that is an
extension of the above ground stem. The pumila is dioecious, having
male or female reproductive parts (cones). Rust colored cones appear
in late winter rising from the ground.Male cones fertilize the female
cones with pollen. |
