Description
A very hardy fan palm that has been seen growing as far north as Washington DC.  Very dense and bushy with large black spines around the trunk.
Cultural Requirements
Cold tolerance - 5.2F Average minimum, by The Cold Rating Database, has been reported as taken temps as low as -10F

Zone - 7+

Soil- Well drained

Light - 600 FC+ to a filtered light, outside full sun, to light shade
