Description
A small to medium sized fan palm with unusal spines covering trunk which are actually roots. This palm has a slender trunk. Dark green. Leaves are whitish silver on the underside. this palm grows to about 30 feet tall.

Soil- moist, well drained, alkaline

Light - semi shaded

Growth - medium fast
